Board & Train Program
Our Board & Train Program offers a professional, results-driven approach to dog training combined with attentive, in-home care. While staying with us in Jimboomba, just outside Brisbane, your dog lives in a calm, structured environment and receives personalised training tailored to their individual needs.
This program is designed for dogs requiring more than basic lessons — whether that’s building solid obedience foundations, improving everyday manners, or working through behavioural challenges. By living and training with us, dogs benefit from consistency, clear expectations, and daily hands-on guidance.
The Board & Train Program is a minimum three-week stay, as meaningful training and behavioural change take time. The length of the program is adjusted based on your dog’s behaviour, learning pace, and training goals. For more complex or long-standing behavioural issues, a longer stay may be recommended to ensure reliable, lasting progress.
During their stay, dogs follow a balanced daily routine that includes structured training sessions, enrichment activities, play, rest, and calm downtime. Our focus is on creating clarity and confidence through consistency, helping dogs develop better impulse control, emotional regulation, and appropriate behaviour in real-world situations.
Our Board & Train Program is suitable for dogs experiencing a wide range of behavioural challenges, including:
-
Loose-lead walking and leash pulling
-
Jumping up and poor manners
-
Excessive or inappropriate barking
-
Reactivity to other dogs
-
Reactivity to people
-
Separation anxiety
-
Resource guarding
-
Fear-based behaviours
-
Poor impulse control and over-arousal
Each dog is assessed individually, and training is tailored to suit their temperament, learning style, and specific behavioural needs.
At the conclusion of the program, you’ll receive a detailed handover session and a customised training plan, ensuring you feel confident continuing the work at home. Our goal is long-term success — not just improvement during your dog’s stay, but practical, sustainable results you can maintain moving forward.
